Weight Tracker mobile application

Last updated: July 14, 2026 · Effective date: July 14, 2026

The short version: Weight Tracker stores your weight, height and body measurements only on your device. We do not have servers that receive this data, we cannot see it, and we never sell it. The app does collect anonymous usage statistics through Google Analytics, and shows ads through Google AdMob — both may use your device's advertising identifier, which you can reset or opt out of at any time in your Android settings. Neither one ever receives your health data.

1. Who we are

Weight Tracker ("the app", "we", "us") is a weight and body-measurement tracking application distributed through Google Play. This policy explains what data the app handles, why, and what control you have over it.

If you have questions about this policy or about how your data is handled, contact us at suporte@hicasys.innf.com.br.

2. Information you enter in the app

To do its job, the app lets you record health-related information such as:

This information is stored locally, in the app's private storage area on your device. It is not transmitted to us, it is not uploaded to any server we control, and it is not shared with advertisers or other third parties. We have no technical ability to read it.

3. Information collected automatically

Beyond what you type in, the app relies on Google services that collect a limited amount of technical and usage information. Each one operates under its own privacy policy:

Service What it may process Purpose
Google Analytics for Firebase Anonymous usage events (screens opened, features used, session length), app version, device model, operating system version, approximate region derived from the IP address, and a randomly generated app instance identifier Understanding how the app is used so we can fix problems and decide what to improve
Google AdMob Advertising ID (AAID), IP address, coarse device and app information, ad interaction events Displaying ads and limiting how often the same ad is shown
Google Play Services Standard device and diagnostic information required to run and update the app App distribution, integrity and stability

What analytics never sees

The analytics data is aggregated and statistical. It tells us things like "the weight-history screen was opened 400 times this week" — it does not tell us who you are and it does not carry the content of your entries. Your weight, height, measurements, goals and notes are never sent to Google Analytics, to AdMob, or to any other third party. We do not attempt to identify individual users from analytics data, and we do not sell or share it.

Analytics collection is tied to your device's advertising identifier. If you reset or delete that identifier, or turn on "Opt out of ads personalisation" in your Android settings (see section 4), Google stops using it to build a profile of you.

4. Advertising

Ads are what keep Weight Tracker free and fund its continued development. Ads are served by Google AdMob. Depending on your region and your choices, AdMob may show you personalized ads based on your device's advertising identifier, or non-personalized ads.

You are in control of this:

For details on how Google uses data from apps that use its services, see Google's partner-sites policy and the Google Privacy Policy.

5. Permissions the app uses

The app does not request access to your files, contacts, camera, microphone, precise location, or call logs.

6. Data retention and deletion

Because your data lives on your device, you delete it the same way you delete anything else on your phone:

Once removed, the data is gone. We hold no copy of it, so there is nothing for us to delete on our side. If you use a device-level backup service (such as Google's Android Backup), a copy of the app's data may exist in your own Google account under Google's terms — you can manage that from your Google account settings.

7. Your rights

Under privacy laws such as the GDPR (Europe), the LGPD (Brazil) and the CCPA (California), you have the right to access, correct, export and delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Since Weight Tracker keeps your health data exclusively on your device, you can exercise all of these rights directly in the app — no request to us is needed. For the analytics and advertising data described in sections 3 and 4, those rights are exercised through your Android ad settings and through Google, since we only ever see it in aggregated form and cannot link it back to you.

If you still need help, write to us at suporte@hicasys.innf.com.br and we will respond within 30 days.

8. Children's privacy

Weight Tracker is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will take appropriate action.

9. Security

Your entries are kept in the app's private, sandboxed storage, which other apps cannot read on a non-compromised Android device. We recommend keeping a screen lock enabled and your system up to date. No method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Third-party links

The app may contain links to external websites that we do not operate. We have no control over their content or practices and cannot accept responsibility for their privacy policies. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any third-party site you visit.

11. Health disclaimer

Weight Tracker is a personal record-keeping tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Calculations such as BMI are general estimates and do not replace a consultation with a qualified health professional. Always talk to your doctor before starting a diet, an exercise programme or any weight-loss plan.

12. Acceptable use

By using the app, you agree not to:

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time — for example, if we add a new feature or change an advertising partner. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page, and material changes will be announced in the app or on the Google Play listing. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
